¡Bienvenidos!
Welcome to the Women's Health and Pregnancy Related Outcomes Special Interest Group (SIG)
The purpose of this SIG is to build capacity for research and papers related to women's health and pregnancy related outcomes. Our group works with the publications and ancillary studies committees to develop, assist with, and review ancillary studies and manuscript proposals in women’s health. We also assist with finding collaborators when needed, and we work with teams to eliminate overlap between proposals. The SIG has a scheduled monthly conference call to discuss proposal ideas and build collaborations.
Current areas of interest include:
- Associations among preconception health behaviors, cardiometabolic risk, pregnancy outcomes and lactation duration
- Associations among parity and maternal cardiometabolic health
- Longitudinal changes in metabolic markers associated with pregnancy and lactation
- Androgens and cardiometabolic factors among reproductive-age women
We look forward to hearing from you!
