HCHS/SOL has a number of SIGs (Scientific Interest Groups), which are also often referred to as "writing groups." The groups of investigators and researchers with shared interest in a topic area work collaboratively and strengthen the work of early career investigators. Many SIGs meet on a regular basis and others meet less frequently. Inactive SIGs are not displayed below.
Initial contact for questions related to joining a SIG, consultation regarding submitting a manuscript proposal or an ancillary study can be made by clicking the group below. For an area not listed send an email to HCHSAdministration@unc.edu we’ll put you in-touch with the right person(s) and assist you on your path.
Below is a graph of all of the Special Interest Groups. If there is a webpage available for the SIG, the node will be dark and you can click the SIG name in order to get to the associated webpage.
